JOANNE M. BRUNECZ

OSAGE, IOWA - JoAnne M. Brunecz, 61, died Wednesday (Nov. 10, 1999) at her home in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1209 State Street in Osage, with Father Philip Recker officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona, Minn.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Champion Funeral Home, Osage.

JoAnne was born on July 10, 1938, in Winona, Minn., the daughter of Chester and Mary (Lovas) Boardman. She was raised in Winona.

She married Stephen P. Brunecz and they were later divorced. She raised her children in Lanham, Md.

She moved to Osage in 1993 and worked as a secretary at McNealy Sanitation. She also had her own ceramic painting business called The Silver Brush.

She now is in the resting hands of our Lord.

JoAnne is survived by three sons, Steve Brunecz and his wife, Jody, and their son, Hunter, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Phillip A. Brunecz and his children, Phillip Jr., Aubrey, Randy and Christian of Hyattsville, Md., and Russ Brunecz and his wife, Monique, of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Dawn Cichon and her husband, Rob, and their children, Joshua and Mallori, of Meriden, Conn.; a sister, Beverly Hemann and her husband, Pete, of Osage; and five nieces and nephews, Barbara Baldwin, Matt Hemann, Jim Hemann, Pattie Machin and Bill Hemann.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
