FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD
THURSDAY P.M.

OSAGE, IOWA – Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Osage Methodist Church for Alonza Wellington Youse, 71, under the direction of the Rev. Glen Hartong. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Mr. Youse suffered a heart attack Monday just as he awakened from sleep. He had apparently been in good health.

Alonza Wellington Youse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wellington Youse, was born in Pennsylvania, December, 1871. He moved with his parents to Kansas, then to Marshalltown where he married Ora Miller. They moved successively to Dougherty, Marble Rock, and Greene, before coming to Mitchell County 27 years ago to make their home. Here they resided on a farm near Osage until two years ago when they retired to Osage.

To them were born five children. Surviving are his wife, Ora Miller Youse, and four daughters; Mrs. James Clark of near Orchard; Mrs. Forrest Lyman of Marshalltown; Mrs. Ralph Baker of Kennen, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Donald Johnson of Montpelier, North Dakota. One daughter, Jessie, preceded him in death.
