JAMES WILLIAM VOAKLANDER 1942-1948
Osage – James Voaklander, the 5-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Voaklander, died Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s hospital, Rochester, Minnesota. The child had been ill the last week with influenza, and when complications developed, was taken to the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital; three days later was taken to Rochester.
Survivors are his parents; two sisters, Anna Marie and Rebecca; one brother, David; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Dargon, Riceville, Iowa; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Voaklander, Osage.
Funeral rites Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, at the Sacred Heart Church in Osage, with the Rev. George Stemm officiating; burial will take place in the Sacred Heart cemetery.
