Mrs. June Fairbrother, 83, of Orchard, Iowa, died Friday, August 3, 1984** in a Tacoma, Washington, hospital.
She was born in Mitchell County, Iowa, and farmed in the area for many years. Mrs. Fairbrother was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Orchard City Council and Ladies Aid of Orchard United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a sister, Laura McRorie of Tacoma, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday, September 19 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel, with burial in Mountain View Memorial Park, Tacoma.

** Note: Apparently the newspaper obituary was in error, stating that she died on August 3. It is believed she actually died on Sept. 7th. Both dates are the first Friday of their respective months.
