Mrs. Julius (Matilda) Anderson
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday February 17, 1988 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 329 E. State St., Mason City, for Mrs. Julius (Matilda) Anderson, 92, with the Reverend Timothy D. Hubert officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Creek Cemetery, rural Osage. Mrs. Anderson died Sunday, February 14, 1988 at a Mason City nursing home.
She was born April 8, 1895 in Mitchell County to Jens and Ingaborg (Guldbranson) Johanson. She attend schools in rural Osage.
On May 10, 1927 she and Julius Anderson were united in marriage in Osage. The couple farmed for many years near Osage. In 1940, they moved to Mason City where Mr. Anderson was employed by Mason City Brick and Tile.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mason City.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Julius who died in June, 1979; an infant son; three sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
