Daniel Philip Baldner March 18, 1886 – October 17, 1960

DAN P. BALDNER DIES FOLLOWING HEART ATTACK

Toeterville – Funeral services for a former Union Township man, Dan. P. Baldner, 74, were held at Wahpeton, N.D., where he had lived for a number of years.

Born in Union Township near Toeterville, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip A. Baldner. On February 23, 1911, he was married to Maria Sievert at Elkton, Minn. He farmed before going to Wahpeton in 1943 where he has lived since. He died of a heart attack, October 17, while he and his wife were raking leaves.

He is survived by his wife, five sons, Alfred and Wilmer, Wahpeton; Earl in California; Lloyd in Oregon; and Elroy in Houston, Tex., daughter, Mrs. James (Bernice) Dietz, Wahpeton; a brother, Leonard, Mason City; and a sister, Mrs. William (Ida) Hoffman, Toeterville.

Services were held in Immanuel Lutheran Church at Wahpeton with burial there.
