OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral rites will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Nettie Jane Douglas, 82, a longtime Mitchell county resident who died Monday at a Mason City hospital. Burial will be in the Osage cemetery. Rites will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Patterson-James Funeral Home at Mason City
Born November 16, 1866, at Osage, the daughter of Mary and Thomas Mackey; married to George Douglas in 1884 and the couple resided on a farm southwest of Osage until 1918. Retiring, to Osage in 1934, where Mr. Douglas died. Since that time the deceased has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Ray Morris, Mason City. She had been ill for some time.
She leaves a son, Charles, Brown's Valley, Minnesota; three daughters: Mrs. Thomas Kingsbury and Mrs. Carl Allen, Riverside, California, and Mrs. Morris.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, and a sister.
