LUNDY RITES TO BE WEDNESDAY
SERVICES PLANNED AT METHODIST CHURCH, I

Clear Lake – Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Lundy, 78, who died at a Charles City hospital Monday morning following a stroke suffered more than a year ago, will be held at the First Methodist church Wednesday at 1 o’clock. The Rev. Warner M Hubbard, pastor, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery. Ward’s funeral home is in charge.

Mrs. Lundy was born Flora Moon, daughter of Milo and Martha Moon, at Mooresville, Indiana April 25, 1868. As a child she moved with the family to New Providence, Hardin county, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Herbert J. Lundy October 25, 1888.

About 35 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Lundy moved to a farm 10 miles south of Clear Lake where they lived several years before moving to town. Mr. Lundy died 14 years ago. One daughter, Mrs. Guy Coyler, died about 20 years ago and Mrs. Lundy had kept a home for Mr. Coyler and the children since. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Mrs. Lundy is survived by 5 children: Mrs. Lula Schaa, Eldora; Mrs. Guy Dodd, E. Main street Clear Lake; Mrs. Otha Francis, New Haven; Orris Lundy, Klemme; and Miss Nellie Lundy, Charles City. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. M. M. Hadley, Wichita, Kansas.

The daughter Mrs. Otha Francis mentioned in this obit is Wanda Elizabeth (Lundy) Francis who was the wife of Otha Wavis Francis. This couple is buried in the Osage cemetery.
