Alfred A. "Bud" Freebury
ORCHARD — Alfred A. "Bud" Freebury, 88, of 3264 Underwood Ave., died Friday (March 27, 1998) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main, Charles City. The Rev. Jerry Newland, pastor of First Baptist Church of Osage, will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family will be present to greet friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Alfred Anderson Freebury was born Aug. 6, 1909, at Bassett.
He is survived by a daughter, Betty, of Bettendorf, and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter and a brother.
