MRS. CARMEN TORREZ
Osage – Mrs. Carmen Torrez, 40, was killed in a truck-car accident in Downey, California, Friday night. Funeral services will be Tuesday in Downey. Committal services will be held in Osage Cemetery.
The former Ursula Diaz, she lived in Osage and Des Moines until last year.
Surviving are her husband, who was injured in the same accident; two sons, Dennis and David; her father, Baldo Diaz, Osage; four brothers and two sisters. Her mother died here a year ago.
