#2:Sinclair Wilson Died
At Chas. Lugg HomeSinclair Wilson passed away at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lugg last night, from infirmities of old age. Mr. Wilson would have been 80 years of age on his next birthday.
He was born in New York City, January 7, 1852, and came west with his parents when he was 13 years of age, 1866, and spent most of his life on the homestead, which he owns, 12 miles east and a mile north of Osage. His brother, William, and one sister, Ella, lived there also until their deaths. Another sister, also deceased, Mrs. Anna Sawyer, lived in Missouri.
For the past eight years he has lived with his friends, Mr. and Mrs. Lugg, who have given him kind and affectionate care.
Mr. Wilson is, we believe, the last member of his family. He never married.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1:30 at the Champion funeral home, in charge of the Rev. John D. Kern, and burial will be made at the Riceville cemetery.
