Rudd – Funeral services Friday for Ralph Kleckner, 50, who died Tuesday afternoon at his farm home north of Rudd of a stroke. He has been in ill health since last April, when he suffered the first stroke. He had farmed in the Rudd vicinity the last 10 years.

Surviving are his wife and two sons, Dean and Rex, all of Rudd.

Ralph Kleckner was born January 5, 1901 and died January 9, 1951. He was the son of Henry W. Kleckner and Ida (Wenger) Kleckner. On December 3, 1930 he married Grace Lenth in Estherville Iowa. Grace Lenth was the daughter of Lee Lenth and Mary (Blaha) Lenth.

They made their home near Riceville for some years. They then started farming in the area, living most of their married life on a farm near Rudd.

They were both buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Iowa.
