PLAN RITES FOR ST. ANSGAR MAN
William Robertson Lived 63 Years in Mitchell County

St. Ansgar – Funeral services for William Allen Robertson, 63, will be held in the Methodist church of St. Ansgar Friday at 2 p.m. with the REev. W. F. Belling in charge and burial at Osage.

Robertson, who died Monday in Mason City, was a life long resident of Mittchell County and lived in St. Ansgar 22 years.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters; Mrs. Willard Fulton of Raymond and Mrs. Oscar Saug of Mason City, and two grandchildren.
The Major funeral home of Mason City is in charge of the services.

According to the 1925 Iowa Census:
William Robertson was the son of Allen Robertson and Elizabeth (Liston) Robertson, who were both born in Scotland. He married Pearl Brown, the daughter of James L Brown and Josie (Gates) Brown, who were both born in Wisconsin.
Pearl was born November 12, 1879 and died January 4, 1943.
Two daughters Esther 23 and Edna 21 are listed with them I this Census.
