Bertha Sophia Ahlf

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Bertha Sophia Ahlf, 96, of St. Ansgar, died Friday (Feb. 27, 1998) at the Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Ahlf was born Dec. 29, 1901, in Newburg Township, Mitchell County.

She is survived by a sister, Martha Knaak, of St. Ansgar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
