Alyce Frances Conger

RICEVILLE, IOWA — Alyce Frances Conger, 95, of Riceville, died Monday, February 16, 1998, at the Riceville Community Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Thomas Mowbray officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Alyce was born on December 7, 1902, at Cedar Falls.

Survivors include two daughters, Pauline Conger Moore, of Tucson, Arizona, and Sharon Conger Walker, of Burnsville, Minnesota; two sons, Richard of Downington, Pennsylvania, and Douglas of Mesa, Arizona; 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, one brother, and one sister.

The family wishes that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society.
