FORMER OSAGE PAINTER DIES
Services for World War Veteran to Be Conducted Tuesday

Osage – Calvin Millington, 48, former sign painter here and World War Veteran, died Saturday night at his home in Independence of pneumonia. He lived in Orchard and Osage most of his life but the lat four years was at Independence.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Barbara of Los Angeles and Patsy of Mankato, Minn.; his father, Byron; a sister, Hazel, of Orchard; a sister, Mrs. Ludwig Anderson, Osage; twin brothers, Harold Dearborn, Mich., and Herbert, Minneapolis.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Shelledy funeral home. Burial will be in Orchard cemetery.

According to his WWI Draft Registration he was born September 20, 1891 in New Haven, Mitchell, Iowa
