OSAGE PAINTER DIES; RITES TO BE THURSDAY
Osage – Funeral services were to be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Osage Lutheran church for Arthur Rosenquist, 53, who died Monday morning at Oakdale. In charge will be the Rev. T. P. Solem, with burial in the Osage cemetery.
He was born in Sweden and came to the United States at the age of 18, residing with his aunt at St. Paul. He served in the navy in World War I. Following the war he resided in Seattle, Washington being employed by the Northern Pacific railroad. He married Selma Krogstad of Osage, at Seattle, in 1925 and made home there until they came to Osage in 1931. He was a painter and interior decorater.
Survivors include his wife, 1 daughter, Claire, and son Richard, all of Osage, and a sister and a brother in Sweden.
