John Hemann, 76, Dies in Home at Stacyville

Stacyville – John Hemann, 76, died of a heart attack at his home here Thursday evening. Hemann had been a carpenter in Stacyville for 50 years.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Fred and Aloys of Stacyville and Ed of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Reinhart (Margaret) Adams of Stacyville and Martha of Chicago; two brothers, Michael of Stacyville and Nick of Meyer and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but services will probably be held Monday, with the Rev. H. M. Manternach officiating.
