STACYVILLE, IOWA - Mrs. Catherine Huemann Wagner, 70, died Saturday of a heart attack.
She was born May 1, 1877 at Stacyville, daughter of Joseph and Christine Huemann. She was married to Joseph A. Wagner of Johnsburg, Wis., at Stacyville, on February 11, 1896.
To this union eight children were born, Louis and Albert, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; Anton, Frank, Herbert and Raymond Stacyville; Mrs. Arthur (Adella) Koenigs, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Leo (Martha) Kruse, Meyer, Iowa
Three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Smith, and Mrs. Emma Reihsen, Waterloo, and Mrs. Casper Hoffman, Stacyville.
Five brothers, Joe, Ben, John T., Frank and William of the Stacyville community; husband preceded her in death on December 13, 1912.
The funeral was Tuesday with Rev. Bertram Kolb officiating at requiem mass and burial was in the Meyer cemetery beside her husband.
