Adelyn Mae Tribbensee

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 5, 1988 at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar for Adelyn Mae Tribbensee, 71, of St. Ansgar. The Reverend Norman Betke officiated with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar. She died Monday, May 2, 1988 at her home.

Mrs. Tribbensee was born March 23, 1917 in Grundy County to S. J. and Mae (Reiter) Jaspers. She was the youngest of eight children and graduated form Vinton High School. She attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls and taught school in Worth County.

On April 11, 1943, she married Rudolph Tribbensee at Austin, Minnesota. They lived and farmed in the St. Ansgar area moving to St. Ansgar in 1981 when they retired from farming.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Senior Choir in St. Ansgar.

Visitation 3 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Rudolph of St. Ansgar; one sister, Helene Kebschull of Traer; and nieces and nephews.
