Robert Knox Died
Tuesday Evening
at Springfield, MO

George Richsmann received a telegram this morning saying that his son-in-law, Robert Knox, had passed away in a hospital at Springfield, Missouri, yesterday evening at about 9:40.

Bob was operated on last Thursday for ruptured appendix but peritonitis had developed to such an extent that he had no chance for life.

His brother, who teaches in Iowa; his mother-in-law, Mrs. George Richsmann; Roy Richsmann; Roy Richsmann and Ray Mabie left Monday morning to be with the family. Mrs. Knox has been prostrated by the shock for several days. She and their three sons survive.

Bob's parents, whose home was at Blue Mount, Missouri, passed away some years ago. He was 41 years of age.

It is assumed that the body will be brought to Osage for burial, although no definite arrangements have been made.
