Keith Gordon Squier
Keith Gordon Squier, 77, of Centerville died on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at his home in Centerville.
He was born the son of Lawrence and Hazel (Frank) Squier on Oct. 23, 1926 in Osage. He received his education in Osage Community Schools.

On Jan. 14, 1972, Keith was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Collins in Centerville.
After serving his country in the Army, Keith was a bricklayer for 56 years and owned S&S Masonry in Centerville. He helped to build portions of Hy-Vee, Fareway, City Hall and many homes in the Centerville area. He worked most recently as a Delivery Driver for HyVee's Bakery and Pharmacy in Centerville, Iowa. Keith also loved his golf game.
Keith was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Buddy and Dean Squier; and one sister Dorothy Squier.

He is survived by: his wife, Shirley Ann Squier of Centerville; three sons, Sean Squier and his wife Gretchen of Mystic, Mark Plahn and his wife Linda of Des Moines and Clay Plahn and his wife Jane of Greeley, Colo.; one daughter, Lynn Engman and her husband Rodney of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters Lillian Adams and Phyllis Peterson, both of Austin, Minn.; two brothers, Larry Squier of Nashua and William Squier of St. Ansgar; sister-in-law, Eleanor Squier of Osage; as well as 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The body has been cremated and a Memorial Service at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home is being planned.
