Dies of Heart Attack
Mitchell, Iowa - Gladys Lucille (Graves) Jensen, 44, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home here Thursday night at 8:30 o'clock. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Graves and was born August 26, 1899, on a farm near Mitchell. She was married to Raymond V. Jensen February 25, 1920.
Two sons were born to this union, Luverne of Camp Wheeler, Ga., and Delmer at home, who with her husband, survive; also her mother, Mrs. Ida Graves, and two brothers, Donald Graves of Cresco and Charles of Mitchell. Her father died in August 1942, and her sister, Ruby Dammen, in June 1939.
Mrs. Jensen had been in poor health for a number of years. She was a member of the Mitchell Community church.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, pending word from the son in camp. Services will be in charge of the Rev. H. F. Risse, and burial will be in the Osage cemetery.

DIES SUDDENLY OF
HEART DISEASE
Mrs. Raymond V. Jensen, 43, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home at Mitchell, Thursday evening. While she had been in failing health for a long time she was able to be about her home and her death was most unexpected.
Deceased is the former Gladys Lucille Graves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Graves. She was born August, 26, 1899, on a farm near Mitchell.
Her marriage to Raymond V. Jensen took place on February 25, 1920. To them were born two sons, Luverne, now in the service and stationed at Camp Wheeler, Georgia, and Delmer, at home.
Surviving is her husband and two sons; her mother, Mrs. Ida Graves; her brothers, Donald Graves of Cresco, and Charles of Riceville. Her father preceded her in death in August, 1942, and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Dammon, in June, 1939.
Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Champion funeral home in Osage, conducted by the Rev. Harvey Risse, and burial was in the Osage cemetery.
