Mrs. Belle Daub Dies at 87; Rites Tuesday
Charles City---Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home for Mrs. Belle Daub, 87. She died Saturday at the Charles City Nursing Home after an illness of several years. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Born November 18, 1874, she was the daughter of Durias and Jane (VanLoan) Coon. She was married to Oscar N. Daub, November 20, 1895, in Charles City. She had lived in this community 50 years and was a school teacher before her marriage. She was a member of the Woman's Relief Corps.
She is survived by two sons, Galen A. Daub, Farmington, Utah, and Leo E. Daub, DeWitth; two grandchildren and four grat-grandchildren. A son, Harold, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
