Mrs. John Welter,
Former Resident,
Buried Yesterday

The remains of Mrs. John Welter were brought to Osage yesterday from Dubuque, and today were laid to rest on the family lot in the New Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Welter and her husband were residents of Osage for many years. First they lived just east of town for at least thirty years, then later moved into town.

Mr. Welter passed away a year and a half ago, and Mrs. Welter has been living in a home for the aged in Dubuque since that time. She came to Mitchell County in 1856.

Surviving is her brother, Peter Weber, Osage, and two sisters, Mrs. Hoart, Howard County, and Mrs. Miller, Montana.

Funeral services were held this morning at the Sacred Heart Church, conducted by the Reverend Fr. J. P. Martin.
