Mrs. K. M. Robinson
Died Sunday Morning

Mrs. K. M. Robinson died Sunday morning at the county home at the advanced age of 96 years. A short time ago she suffered a broken hip, and that, coupled with her old age, caused death.

Mrs. Robinson and her husband came to Mitchell County from New York State years ago. Her husband made a trip back east twenty years ago and died there, but his body being shipped here for burial. For a number of years after that Mrs. Robinson lived alone near the fairground, then as she grew older went to Charles City to live at the Starr home for old ladies. More recently she has made her home at the Mitchell County Home.

Mrs. Robinson was a quiet woman who never mingled with people much, so was little known. Years ago she wrote a novel, "Cornelia," an old-fashioned romance of life after the Civil War. It was published as a serial in the Sioux City Journal, and afterwards in the book form.

The funeral service was held on Tuesday morning at the Shelledy Funeral Home and burial made in the Osage Cemetery.
