Merle Alta Kubicek

RICEVLLE, IOWA — Merle Alta Kubicek, 87, of Riceville, died Friday (Dec. 11, 1998) at the Riceville Community Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Riceville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Edythe Hill officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville.

Merle Kubicek was born on Sept. 13, 1911, in Riceville.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Harvey, of Champaign, Illinois, and Carol Erickson, of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
