Clara "Rena" Tyler
OSAGE, IOWA — Clara "Rena" Tyler, 87, died Monday (Nov. 30, 1998) at Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Burial will take place in Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Champion Funeral Home.
Clara was born May 14, 1911, on the family farm near Osage, [ the daughter of William Franklin Cummings and Clara Elizabeth (Bird) Cummings.
She married Frank Stanley Tyler. ]**
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Counsell, Osage, and Marian Rust, St. Ansgar; one son, William Tyler, Janesville, Wis.; one sister, Martha Haehn, Grand Meadow, Minn.; one brother, Ralph Cummings, Osage; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one great-grandson, five brothers, and four sisters.
