Obituary
Charles Snively
Charles Snively, son of Owen D. and Jane Snively, was born in Osage, November 11, 1878, and passed away at his home in Orchard, May 7, 1931, at the age of 52 years, 5 months and 27 days.
When a boy he moved with his parents onto a farm, east of Orchard, where he attended school. Later he moved with his parents, to Orcahrd, where he continued to make his home until his death, with the exception of one year spent in Montana.
The deceased was a quiet, obliging neighbor, who did what good lay in his power, although greatly handicapped by ill health.
He leaves to mourn his passing two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Ingraham, of Stipek, Montana; and Mrs. A. O. Anderson, of Osage; also three brothers: Earnest L. of Stipek, Montana; William E., of West Union, Iowa; and Frank, of Orchard, Iowa. With the last the deceased has made his home since the death of the mother two years ago.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, in the home at 1:30, in the Orchard church at 2:00. Interment was in the Osage Cemetery.
