Former Osage Man
Buried Here TodayThe body of O. B. Tanneyhill was brought to Osage from St. Louis, where death occurred Saturday, and buried in the local cemetery with Masonic honor, the Osage lodge acting for the waterloo order.
Mr. Tanneyhill was a former Osage manufacturer, a member of the well-machinery manufacturing firm of Morgan, Kelley & Tanneyhill, which operated an extensive plant on the block where John Friedlund's blacksmith shop is located, and with moved to Waterloo in 1887, later to become the Armstrong Company.
Deceased was 84 years old, and will be remembered by the older residents.

Note: The Sept. 29, 1910 Waterloo Courier told of the wedding of O. B. Tannyhill's daughter Anna's marriage to Herbert B. Mc Millan. Another daughter Violet was a bridesmaid.
