John Wade Lee, age 65, of Osage, died Friday, June 18, 2010, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev. John Moser officiating. Inurnment will be at the Osage Cemetery. Following services, there will be a time for lunch and fellowship at the K.C. Hall in Osage with the family remaining at the K.C. Hall until 5:30 p.m. to greet relatives and friends.

John was born January 10, 1945, at Fort Warren in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Robert and Cleo (Weber) Lee. The family returned to Osage in 1946 where John lived his entire life. He graduated from Osage High School in 1963. John married Theresa Crain on May 29, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. He was employed at White Farm, Mitchell County Road Maintenance, and retired from Curries Manufacturing. John enjoyed NASCAR, following his children and grandchildren in their school and sports activities, and having a cup of coffee with friends at Casey’s.

John is survived by his wife, Terri Lee of Osage; his son, Michael (Melinda) Lee of Osage; his daughter, Corinne (Dan) Walker of Maplewood, Minnesota; six grandchildren, Joshua, Johnathan, Nicholas, and Alyssa Lee, Ezekiel and Quinn Walker; three brothers, Richard (Val) Lee of Stillwater, Minnesota, Robert (Kathy) Lee of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, and Scott (Christi) Lee of Hugo, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Barry Lee; and one niece, Candace Lee.
