Beverly Ann Rogers, age 59, of Osage, died on Thursday, January 24, 2002, at her home after battling breast cancer for nine years.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 28, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Father Philip Recker officiated and interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Osage. The Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, was in charge of the arrangements.
Beverly was born in Spencer on September 4, 1942, the daughter of Joseph Lepper and Dorothy (Petz-Lechman). She graduated from the Mason City High School. Beverly was employed by Mercy Hospital for 14 years.
She was united in marriage to Marvin Rogers on May 12, 1962 in Mason City. She enjoyed her grandchildren as well as gardening, flowers and birds. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild.
Preceding her in death were her father, Joseph Lepper and step-father John Lechman.
Those that survive her include her mother, Dorothy Lechman of Mason City; her husband, Marvin Rogers of Osage; five children, Laurinda Darling and her husband, Bob of Ankeny, Curt Rogers of Osage and his special friend, Dee Bahl, Sandra Wohkittel and her husband, James of Lakeville, Minnesota, Kevin Rogers and his wife, Cindy of Osage and Joanne Kuntz and her husband, Dennis of Clear Lake; nine grandchildren, Elissa and Jerad Darling, Brittany, Kaitlin and Jorden Kuntz, James J. and Maxwell Wohkittel, Karla and Lucas Rogers; a sister, Sue Martin and her husband, Gary of Clarion; a brother, Mickey Lepper of Mason City; and many special friends.
