FANNY MUELLER DIES;
RITES AT ST. ANSGARSt. Ansgar, Iowa - Mrs. Fanny Mueller, R. N., 65 died Friday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church here. The Rev. Carl Wuerffel officiated. Burial was in the city cemetery with Schroeder Houg Funeral Home in charge.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emma Walter, Phillips, Wis.; a brother, Edwin Brunner, Milwaukee, and several nieces and nephews.

65, Dies of CancerFuneral services were held for Mrs. Fannie Mueller, 65, of St. Ansgar, on December 18, at Immanuel Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. The Rev. Carl Wuerfel, church pastor, was in charge. Burial was in St. Ansgar cemetery.
Mrs. Mueller died December 15 at Mitchell County Memorial hospital following a long illness from cancer.
Fannie Brunner was born on February 27, 1896, at Onalaska, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brunner. She attended school in Onalaska and graduated from high school here in 1914. She entered nurses training at Lutheran hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and was graduated in October, 1918. She volunteered for service during the flu epidemic at Camp Dodge, Iowa, and later spent three years employed at Chicago Lying-In hospital in Chicago.
She was married to Oscar Mueller April 20, 1921. They made their home in St. Ansgar.
She had been a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church since coming to St. Ansgar and had been an active member in the Ladies Aid. She was a member of St. Ansgar Women's Study club, of the American Legion, having served as president for three terms.
Mrs. Mueller was on the nursing staff at Mitchell County Memorial hospital in Osage until last year when she became ill.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Emma Walter of Phillips, Wisconsin, a brother, Edwin Brunner of Milwaukee, nieces and nephews and several foster sisters and brothers.
Her husband, Oscar, preceded her in death May 19, 1954.
