F. J. ZEMANEK DIES AT 85, OSAGE SERVICES
OSAGE, IOWA - F. J. Zemanek, 85, died Tuesday morning at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital following a week's illness. Funeral services have been set tentatively for Friday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home here. The Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ansgar Cemetery.
Born April 29, 1877, on the farm near St. Ansgar where he had lived all his life, he was the son of Frank and Johanna Zemanek. He was married January 30, 1901, to Anna Komberetz. She died in 1960.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Freda) Roach, Ames; Mrs. Lottie Littele, Osage; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
