Gladie Gilbertson and Lawrence F Baldner of Cherokee were married at the English Lutheran Parsonage at St. Missouri.

Buchanon County, Missouri marriage license application: August 23, 1938;
L. F. Baldwin of Saint Ansgar, Iowa age 34 and Gladi Gilbertson of Saint Ansgar, Iowa age 23.

Apparently she was the 2nd wife of Lawrence Baldner, as the newspaper February 1930 says that Leota Dyrland of Lyle Minnesota and Lawrence F Baldwin of Cherokee, IA. were married February 10, 1930 at Osage Luthern Parsonage.
He was born September 7, 1903 and died June 1967 in Cherokee according to SS Death Records.

St. Ansgar---Funeral rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the St. Ansgar Methodist church for Gladie Gilbertson Baldner, 31, Cherokee, who died Wednesday of cancer; she is sister-in-law of Arnold Baldner, Osage, and had been ill for more than two years.
*the Arnold mentioned in this obit was the brother of Lawrence F Baldner.
