OSAGE, IOWA — O. O. Krogstad, former county supervisor for six years, died Saturday. He was 70 years old, a native of Norway, a resident of Mitchell County since 1888, and a resident of Osage since 1910. When he was seven years old his parents emigrated to America with him. They lived for several years in Minnesota and later in the Dakotas. Mr. and Mrs. Krogstad celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1930.

Surviving, besides the widow, are two sons and four daughters, all living in Osage: Oscar, a member of the county board; Gustav; Mrs. Irvin Olsen; Mrs. Arthur Rosenquist; Mrs. Lawrence Olson; and Mrs. Theodore Nelson.

Another son died in 1923.

Funeral services will be at the Lutheran church Monday afternoon with the pastor. Rev. T. P Solem officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery here.

Olavus (Olaus) O. Krogstad (actually baptized Lauritz Olaves Olsen) is the brother of my great-grandmother who stayed behind in Norway when the rest of her family emigrated in 1870.
