FRANCIS J. MOSS DIED AT OSAGE
WAS MEMBER OF FAMILY HONORED BY MOSSVILLE

Osage---Funeral services were to be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Riceville Congregational church for Francis J. Moss, 76, who died at his son’s home in Osage Tuesday. Services were to be in charge of the Rev. Jonas Priestly, with burial in the Riceville cemetery.

Mr. Moss was a member of the Moss family in who honor Mossville, located west of Riceville, was named.

He was born In August 1867, son of Edward and Elmira Moss. He resided on the parental farm and in 1891 was married to Lillie B. Markham. For more than 50 years they resided on the home farm, and retired only last fall when Mr. Moss was in failing health.

To them were born 2 children, Charles died in 1933. Capt. Clifford Moss, in the army finance division, Denver, Colo., is the only surviving child. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Harry Moss, Riceville and Charles Moss, Los Angeles, Cal
