Expectant mother
dies at 23;
Rites Tuesday
NEW HAVEN, IOWA — Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church here for Mrs. Harland (Beverly) Lubbert, 23. She died Saturday in route by ambulance to the University Hospital, Iowa City. Burial will be in the St. Peter Cemetery.
An expectant mother, Mrs. Lubbert had been ill for 10 weeks. Death was attributed to an embolism.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Mitchell, 4; a daughter, Kristina, 19 months; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Birkholz, Orchard; a sister, Donna Birkholz, Stacyville; a brother, Duane, Orchard; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Birkholz, Charles City, and Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Brown, Osage.
