Mrs. Grace Hansen was born February 28, 1900 at St. Ansgar to Mr. and Mrs. George Colbertson.

She spent her childhood in St. Ansgar. She was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran church and graduated from St. Ansgar schools.

She was married in 1920 to Noble Nighingale. To this union were born two children, Joyce and Laverne. Her husband died in 1931.

In 1934 she was married to Laurtiz Hansen. To this union were born two sons, Allen and David.

Mrs. Hansen died suddenly from a heart attack August 29, 1960 at Marshalltown, Iowa.

Survivors are her husband, one daughter, Joyce Jones, Oaklyn, N.J.; and three sons, Laverne Nightingale, Kansas City, Mo.; Allen Hansen, stationed at Camp Rucker, Alabama, and David Hansen stationed at Goodfellow Airforce Base, Texas; also her father and sister, Frankie Colbertson Friheit and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her mother, one brother, and two sisters.

Prayer services were conducted at Marshalltown Septemer 2 by Pastor B.O. Lokensgaard of Elim Lutheran Church. Funeral services were conducted at First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar September 3 with interment in the First Lutheran cemetery with the Rev. Don R. Hamilton officiating.

Miss Jean Titus was organist and Carl Duenow was soloist.
