CLAUDE 'ED' BALDWIN

OSAGE, IOWA - Claude "Ed" Baldwin, 36, of Austin, Minn., and formerly of Osage, died Sunday (Nov. 5, 2000) at Westfield Township, Dodge County, Minn.

Claude was born May 2, 1964, in Osage, the son of Dwight and Claudetta (Willsher) Baldwin. He attended schools in Osage. Claude had been working at Crenlo Manufacturing in Rochester, Minn.

Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, 702 State St. in Osage, with the Rev. Jerry Newland officiating. Inurnment will be in the Osage Cemetery.

There will be a gathering of friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Claude E. Baldwin Fund at 320 Mechanic St. Osage, IA 50461.

He is survived by his mother, Claudetta Baldwin, of Osage; his father, Dwight Baldwin, of Massachusetts; one son, Cole Baldwin and Cole's mother, Penny Baldwin, of Hayfield, Minn.; three sisters, Theresa Davis, of Minnesota, Jan Parks, of Charles City, and Sandy Maravetz and her husband, Randy, of Charles City; four brothers, Tom Baldwin and his wife, Peggy, of Massachusetts, Ronald Baldwin and his wife, Jeannie, of Charles City, Myron Baldwin and his wife, Barb, of Osage, and John Baldwin, of Osage; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and three infant brothers.
