John 'Joe' Silver [1932-2001]

Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, August 1, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage, for John 'Joe' Silver, age 68, of Osage, with Father Patrick Geary officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Osage. Visitation on Tuesday evening, at the funeral home with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m.

Joe died Sunday, July 29, 2001 at his residence in Osage.

Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.

Joe was born December 8, 1932 in Afton Township, Howard County, the son of John and Julie (Dunn) Silver.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Those that survive him include his sister, Jean Silver of Osage.

OSAGE, IOWA - John "Joe" Silver, 68, of Osage, died Sunday (July 29, 2001) at home.

His funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, with Father Patrick Geary officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a Scripture service at 7 p.m.
