Frances M. Barker-Schroeder, 1919-2005
Funeral services for Frances M. Barker-Schroeder, 86, of Wheeling, Illinois, and formerly of Osage, were held Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Osage, with Rev. Dennis Hanson officiating. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Frances died February 8, 2005 at McHenry, Illinois.
Frances was born on January 30, 1919 to Theodore and Ruby (Woodward) Gunderson in Osage, Iowa.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Ruby Gunderson, a son Ronald Barker, a daughter Cheryl Duda, a brother Eugene Gunderson and a sister Dorothy Gunderson.
She is survived by her children, Mert (Marci) Barker, Willie Barker, Russell (Linda) Barker, and Clete Barker; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and by brothers: Laverne (Maxine) Gunderson and Lauren (Phyllis) Gunderson and sister-in-law Jenny Gunderson.
The Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements. (641) 713-4920.
