OBITUARY: Lovella Hanson, 1910-1996
ST. ANSGAR, IOWA -- Lovella Hanson, 86, of St. Ansgar, died Tuesday, October 1, 1996, at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Deer Creek Lutheran Church, Carpenter, with the Rev. Kathryn Larson officiating. Burial will be in Newburg Cemetery, Carpenter.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Lovella Hanson was born on August 28, 1910, in Winnebago County, Iowa.
Survivors include four daughters, Janet Schroeder of Britt; Marilyn Wilder of St. Ansgar; Ellen Krueger of State College, Pa., and Sharon Rupe of West Des Moines; two sons, Marvin Hanson and Roger Hanson, both of St. Ansgar; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two great-grandchildren.
