Charlotte Faye Harris-Klemesrud
DIXON, Ill. - Charlotte Faye Harris-Klemesrud, 63, of Sterling and Dixon, passed away Wednesday (May 20, 2009) at Coventry Living Center in Sterling.

Charlotte was born March 31, 1946, in Osage, Iowa, the daughter of Les and Opal (Beery) Harris.

Charlotte was a longtime resident of the area and during her life she managed several personal real estate properties, worked in the offices of Gate City Steel, Sterling High School and Farm n Fleet.

First and foremost Charlotte was a loving mother, sister and a lifelong friend to many in the community.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Brian) Woods, of Hendersonville, N.C.; her son, Rick (Brenda) Klemesrud, of Coralville, Iowa; three sisters, Arlene Balsley, of Charles City, Iowa, Bernadine Lifka of Sterling and Illa June (Deane) Fuch of Pine Island, Minn.; her brother, Richard (Thelma) Harris, of Osage, Iowa; and two grandchildren, Brookelyn and Austin Klemesrud.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the health care professionals at KSB Hospital in Dixon, Unity Hospice and the caring and gracious staff of Coventry Living Center in Sterling for their kind and tireless efforts on Charlotte's behalf.
