Wayne Allen Rosenberg
Red Wing, MN- Wayne Allen Rosenberg, 73, formerly of St. Ansgar, Iowa, died on Thursday, April 23, 2010 at the Red Wing Health Center, Red Wing, MN. Funeral service were held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, Iowa with Rev. Ron Bolinger officiating. Burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.
Wayne Allen Rosenberg was born on Oct 3. 1936 to Eddie and Ella Rosenberg, St Ansgar, Ia. He was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, Ia. After graduating from Grafton High School. he spent two years in the U.S. Army.
He was employed by Wilson and Company, Colorado, and then returned to help his father farm. Later, he moved to Rochester, MN, where he worked for Crenlo. He later moved to Chester Heights, MN where he retired.
He enjoyed sports events, horses, traveling, playing guitar and singing.
He is survived by a sister, Evelyn Fox (Lenard) Osage, Ia, brothers Dale (Delrose) Mason City, Ia, Gene (Betty) Grafton, Ia and sister Janice Weinschenk (Russell) Rochester, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Glenn (Arlene).
Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home of St. Ansgar, Iowa was in charge of arrangements. 641-713-4920.
