Stock buyer succumbs to heart attack
ORCHARD — Ted Dieterichs, 54, died suddenly Wednesday evening after suffering a heart attack at his office during the afternoon. Funeral services will be at St. John's Lutheran Church south of Osage. Arrangements are incomplete at Champion Funeral Home.
Born in May, 1905, he was the son of William and Charlotte Johanna Dieterichs, who farmed south of Osage. He attended Cedar Valley Seminary here and was married June 6, 1930, to Wilma Brewer. He had been a farmer and stock buyer all his life.
Surviving are his wife, his father, two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Kathryn) Shoger, Osage; Mrs. Peter (Janice) Hince, Chicago; a son, William, at home; five grandchildren, three brothers, Maylon and Paul, Osage; Francis, San Jose, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Verna) Tresemer, Arlington, Iowa; Mrs. Laurence (Gladys) Champion, Osage, and Mrs. Conrad (Ruth) Nelson, Kensett.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Stanley and Kurt.
