MRS. ALVER DAHLEN

OSAGE - Mrs. Alver Dahlen, 71, died Wednesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services are pending at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Norman Brooks of the First Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Osage cemetery.

Lille Ione Nelson was born July 22, 1893 in Floyd County to Ole and Anna Nelson. She was married Aug. 15, 1910, to Frank Lonergan. They lived in Mitchell county until he died in 1939. She was married to Alver Dahlen April 3, 1951 in Osage.

Surviving are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. H. R. (Mable) Lang, Waterloo; Mrs. Claude (Mary) Voshell, Floyd; Mrs. Hilbert (Mildred) Schulz, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Louis (Margaret) Kindschuh, Osage, three sons, Melbourne Lonergan, Denver, Iowa; Merlyn and Marvin Lonergan, Waterloo; 28 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ray Rowe, Osage; Mrs. Viola Morrison, Waterloo, a brother, Ole Nelson, Austin, Minn.
