K. Paulson
K. Paulson was born in Ulvik, Norway, Nov. 4, 1821, and died at the home of his son K. K. Paulson, May 16, 1904. On Ascension day, May 12, he received a stroke of paralysis, while reading and meditating on the biblical truths of the ascension of his Lord and Master. We hope that he had the eye of faith directed on his Savior, who has gone before him to prepare a place, also for him, in the Father's house.
Since he emigrated in 1868, he has resided in Mitchell county.
His aged wife died 6 years ago. All their children, 7 sons and one daughter survive them: K. K. and G. K. Paulson reside in Rock, this county; C. K. Paulson in Worth county; Paul at Forest City; Lars at Rothsey, Minn.; Mrs. Herborg Gunderson at Evansville, Minn.; Ole at Roseau county, Minn.; and Hans at Grafton, N.D.
He had 58 grandchildren, 49 survive him.
The funeral service was held at the Rock Creek Lutheran church, May 19th.
