Dies at Home
Near Nora Springs
Funeral services for Gladys Anderson, 39, were held Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home and the Jerico Lutheran church with the Rev. I. G. Kitzmann officiating. She lived with her brother, Alfred, and sisters, Mary and Ann, near Nora Springs, where she died April 11, after an illness which kept her bedfast the past ten and one-half years. Burial was made in the Jerico cemetery.
Gladys Inger Anderson was born July 23, 1908, daughter of Andrew and Mary Johnson Anderson at Jerico. She attended the Jerico schools and also lived near Riceville. The last several years she lived with her brother and sisters on a farm near Nora Springs.
She is survived by nine brothers and sisters, Alfred, May and Ann of Nora Springs; Ole of Sandi, John, Leonard and Mrs. Karie Betts of Waterloo; Mrs Josie Douglas and Mrs Martha Ronnel of New Hampton. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
