CONRAD, Fred [1911-1965]

OSAGE, IOWA - Fred Conrad, 53, died Friday while at work. He had been employed by the Mitchell County Highway department 19 years Born Dec. 16, 1911 at McIntire to Henry and Mary Conrad, he was a veteran of World War II. He was married to Mildred Laga.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Tom Diers, Stillwater, Minnesota; Mrs. Walter Sheldon, Northfield, Illinois, a son Daniel at home, his mother Mary Conrad, Little Cedar; two sisters Mrs. Paul Lenk, Nashville, Tennessee; Mrs. Clara Peterson, Alden, Iowa; three brothers, Carl, Raymond and Donald, all of Little Cedar.

Funeral services will be Monday at First Methodist Church here.

Burial will be in Osage Cemetery with Champion Funeral Home in charge.

OSAGE, IOWA — Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the First Methodist Church here for Fred Conrad, 53, who died Friday noon of a heart attack; burial in Osage Cemetery, Champion Funeral home in charge.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; two daughters, Mrs. Tom Diers, Stillwater, Minn., and Mrs. Walter Sheldon, Northfield, Illinois, a son, Daniel, at home; mother, Mrs. Mary Conrad, Little Cedar; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Lenk, Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. Clara Peterson, Alden; three brothers, Carl, Raymond and Donald, all of Little Cedar.
